In March, Vimicro Ltd Starlight Digital Multimedia Chip was awarded the first prize of National Scientific Progress Award, the “Starlight Chinese Chip” series of digital multimedia chips had their own independent intellectual property rights and took up 60% of global market share of computer image input chips. In November, Vimicro announced IPO in US NASDAQ, financing 87 million dollars.
4, China Techfaith Wireless Communication Technology Ltd (CNTF) Led Domestic Mobile Phone Design Industry

After its establishment only three years, CNTF rapidly grew up to be China’s largest provider of mobile phone software and whole-set solution design, besides taking up 60％ market share of domestic mobile phone design market, it also aimed at international market, and had designed many mobile phone and MMI software for China Mobile, China Unicom, and Japan, Europe, America, India, Brazil, Russia and southeast Asia’s mobile communication operators, it became the Blackhorse of domestic mobile communication industry. In May, CNTF successfully announced IPO in US NASDAQ stock market, financing 142 million dollars.
5, Beijing New-tech Manufacturing Industry’s total output breaks through 200 billion YUAN

With the drive of a series of significant high-end manufacturing projects such as BOE 5th Generation TFT LCD Panel product line and SMICS 12-inch IC product line, Beijing high-tech manufacturing has realized present price total output breaks through 200 billion yuan from January to November, reaching 223.45 billion yuan, which a 20.6% increase over the last year and accounts for 36.8% of industrial total output of the whole city; realizing an increase of 43.22 billion yuan.
