Dr. Sun Yuning, Presideng of IGRS Information Technology Engineering Center, expressed in his work report that, the set up of IGRS Information Technology Engineering Center was a new milestone after the formal approval of IGRS standard since IGRS Working Group’s birth in 2003. It marked that IGRS had stridden a key step in industrialization after achieving magnitude breakthrough in standardization construction field.
He also expressed that the achievements of IGRS due highly to the genuine care of central leaders and strong support of related government departments, as well as active participance and persistent devotion of alliance enterprises. Meanwhile, IGRS explored a characterized way of Chinese standard construction and independent innovation. The main experiences are： “grasp the key, market oriented”, i.e., grasping industry opportunity to deliver key standard, and taking industrialization as the drive, so as to use market as the ”touchstone” of standard construction; “Enterprises take the lead, united innovation” is to exert the coordination effect between enterprises and impel standard construction by integration and innovation; “Global vision, international standard” is to see from the perspective of global industrial development, deliver standard with fair, open and compatible principles, and take standards which have been international adoptive as the goal.
Talking of future development, he expressed that IGRS had wholly put in industrialization “highway”, at present, standard construction is improving, key techniques and application are ripening, industrial chain is maturing, product development and marketing are evolving, the alliance is growing, international cooperation is making significant progress, IGRS has had certain market influence and brand name awareness.
