On May 14, 2008 in Beijing, unveiling ceremony was held in Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse for IGRS Standard Testing Joint Lab, established by Ministry of Information Industry, China Electronics Standardization Institute and IGRS. Certification was issued for the first batch of IGRS standard products. Leaders of Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China and Beijing relevant government sections, as well as main enterprise representatives of IGRS alliance attended the ceremony.
IGRS Standard Testing Joint Lab is the first domestic accreditation organ in electronic information products. The Lab, based on accreditation platform of China Electronics Standardization Institute, conducts accreditation on 3C products, such as computer, TV, DVD, Baffle box, projector, digital camera, etc, in accordance with IGRS standard issued by the country to guarantee function and quality of IGRS standard products.
Establishment of IGRS Standard Testing Joint Lab by IGTS and China Electronics Standardization Institute is helpful exploration of close connection among standardization, conformity assessment system and industry. This helps to enhance highly efficient cooperation among producing, studying and researching. We hope that China Electronics Standardization Institute can continue to cooperate with IGRS sincerely to promote information to develop healthily and prosperously in orderly way, provide a convenient and authorized public platform for numerous IGRS manufacturers, reduce enterprise technology developing cost , advance technology innovation, increase cognition on IGRS technology standard convergence and pay attention to promoting products industrialization, develop in orderly way and implement IGRS standard. From angle of market and customer demand, ultimate beneficiaries are consumers. Cooperation among producing, studying and researching and standard accreditation can supervise and urge enterprise to provide the best products and service for consumers and lower consumption cost of every kind of product.
Lenovo and TCL, etc demonstrated the first batch of products that passed testing and accreditation. HE Zhiqiang, senior vice president of Lenovo, GUO Qingcun, vice president of Hisense, MA Songlin, chief of technology center, TCL, GUO Bin, president assistant of Great Wall, CHEN Ye, chief of planning section, CHANGHONG, delivered reports on plans of IGRS standard industrialization. Lenovo will release IGRS business computer in November, TCL begins volume production of high-definition media player based on IGRS standard, Hisense digital home system, DNet_Home based on IGRS standard has been made and series of IGRS standard products have been developed and will be promoted all-round in short term.
