Good news about China IGRS internationalization
——One more international standard proposal of China IGRS becomes international standard in ISO/IEO FCD
In October, China IGRS made another breakthrough in China IGRS standard internationalization. After China IGRS standard became ISO/IEC international standard for equipment accreditation, one more international standard proposal of China IGRS, IGRS Base Agreement Standard, passed officially ISO/IEC JTC1 SC25 FCD voting, and became FDIS. It symbols China IGRS standard system was fully accepted by ISO/IEC, and laid important foundation for China IGRS internationalization.
China IGRS standard passed FCD voting through intense competition in phase of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC25 in October, 2008, and became FDIS.
IGRS Base Agreement is foundation of interconnection among digital home equipments. It regulates mechanism of mutual discovery and resources share among China IGRS equipments, making equipments involved in public places, and home achive efficiently resources openess and service convergecne through conforming to common resource description and functional service interface standard, as to enhance interoperation of function among equipments.
FCD voting is the last phase in professional process, and also the most important phase of becoming international standard. China IGRS Base Agreement passing FCD verifies Chinese people have capacity to have a position in global technology comptition. It’s a stride for China IGRS and overall China standard internationalization.
China IGRS standard work team is China international standard orgnization. It establishes good cooperative relationship with many international orgnization alliances. On behalf of China, IGRS and Japan ECHONET, Korea HNF, etc jointly set up AHNC. It laid a foundation for building uniform home network for Asian area.
Numbers of China IGRS member has reached one hundred and eighteen. Currently there are IGRS products of more than twenty styls entering market, such as OC, laptop, TV, cell phone, projector, etc, covering 84.3% of domestic TV market, 50% of major appliaces market, 43% of computer market and 41% of cell phone market. Sales volume is nearly seven million.
China IGRS create a precedent in domestic 3C (computer, communication and consumption products) industry technology cooperatuion. It motivates efficiently development of internet digital content, network operation and new-style service industry in next generation, enhance our enterprises’ competitiveness in international market, break bounds among traditional 3C products, and lay a technological foundation for 3C-convergence technology. China IGRS will adhere to the principle to commit itself to industrilization of IGRS technology standard, and forge a competitive industry model.
