IGRS Gained Award in China Electronics Standardization Association 2nd Electronics Information Industry Standard Motivation Meeting

Recently, China Electronics Standardization Association 2nd Electronics Information Industry Standard Motivation Meeting was held in Beijing meidiya Center. IGRS was awarded 2008 Electronic Information Industry Standardization Leading Enterprise at the meeting. Phd SUN Yuning, president of IGRS was awarded 2008 Electronic Information Industry Standardization Excellent Person.

China Electronics Standardization Association 2nd Electronics Information Industry Standard Motivation Meeting organizes efficient resources, such as government, enterprise, media and research institute together, and reaches common view on future based on conclusion of the past. They will motivate electronic information industry standardization of our country to develop longitudinally. The influence is great and profound. LOU Qin, vive section chief of Ministry of Industry and Information delivered speech at the meeting and gave confirmation on IGRS independent innovation and enterprise joint. He said “The country is back for important project of independent innovation, and pays attention to proprietary intellectual property rights. To change backward situation of proprietary intellectual property rights, we must focus on construction of independent innovation capacity, explore many innovation methods, and strengthen technology innovation, patent application and standard making. The country is back for joint patent, advocate joint, organize enterprise to form resultant force, and organize producing, studying and researching together. Standard is coordination result, and enterprises need to compromise and cooperate with each other. IGRS did a good job for this!”

2008 Electronic Information Industry Standardization Leading Enterprise and 2008 Electronic Information Industry Standardization Excellent Person are new-added prizes, mainly involving enterprises in standard industry and individuals who join standardization undertakings and make active contribution. Awarding is conducted according to six stages, such as announcement, application, assessment, acknowledge and awarding. IGRS standard gained experts’ recognition at experts’ assessment meeting. Experts gave high praise on breakthrough IGRS made in international standard field, and reorganization on the model of big enterprise joint innovation created.

Standard is the foundation of independent innovation, and also important responsibility of Ministry of Industry and Information. Standard has motivating influence on sustainable development of our country’s information industry. It’s reported after China IGRS standard became ISO/IEC international standard for equipment accreditation, one more international standard proposal of China IGRS, IGRS Base Agreement Standard, passed officially ISO/IEC JTC1 SC25 FCD voting, and became FDIS. It symbols China IGRS standard system was fully accepted by ISO/IEC, and laid important foundation for China IGRS internationalization.    

Numbers of China IGRS member has reached one hundred and twenty, covering important enterprises in IT, communication and consumption electronics. Currently there are IGRS products of more than twenty styles entering market, such as OC, laptop, TV, cell phone, projector, etc, covering 84.3% of domestic TV market, 50% of major appliances market, 43% of computer market and 41% of cell phone market. Sales volume is nearly seven million.

IGRS is enterprises organization appliance based on technology and market-orientated. Under guidance of relevant sections responsible for this. IGRS actively joins standardization organization in relevant industry, replace competition for cooperation, promote influence of standardization work on guiding industry development, and actively motivates implement and promotion of standardization.
