On December 28, 2010, “Green Life, Intelligent Power—IGRS Plenary Meeting 2010 and Launch Ceremony of Intelligent Power Management (IPM) Logo” was held in Beijing. The consolidated enterprises commonly issued the Proposal of IPM and publicized the IPM logo.
At the conference, IGRS Alliance enabled the IPM logo, which means that IPM had a definite and uniformed identification in China since then. It helped to promote to form a uniformed IPM industry standard to regulate the industry and promote the long-term healthy development of IPM industry.
The IPM logo symbolizes green, intelligence and environmental protection, which means to bring in brand new life styles and value concepts to consumers. In addition, the IPM use of electricity logo indicates the coming of intelligent and environmental-protecting power use age. The official enablement of the IPM logo is a milestone event in the IPM, which will help to fully start the IPM logo and home energy management popularization.
