IGRS cooperates with Japan and Korea to commonly promote intelligent power management

A few days ago, 2011 AHNC Meeting was held in Korea. China IGRS, Korea KASH and Japan ECHOENT clearly expressed that they would cooperate to develop the IPM. As a standardized organization, IGRS Alliance established closely contact and cooperation with numerous international organizations and alliances. IGRS has been always promoted the all-round cooperation of Japan, Korea and China in the field of home network and the exchange among the governments of three countries, the standards and the industries as well as the communication and cooperation between Chinese enterprises, foreign standardized organizations and manufacturers. At this conference, the representatives of the three countries had a discussion on some hot issues like the new energy, the smart grid and the home network, as well as explicate the cooperative projects to improve the development of IPM of Japan, Korea and China.     

 

The representatives of this meeting visited Korea Smart Grid Test Bed, Korea Electricity KPECO PR Hall, Telecom Operator SKT PR Hall and LG IPM Exhibition Center. Under the guidance of Korea government, the IPM formed the whole industry chain commonly-promoted trend. It was known that Korea government would work out Smart Grid National Roadmap to improve the IPM related technology R&D and industrialization development as well as perfect the institution. Till 2030, Korea will complete the nationwide smart grid system. In addition, Korea government has submitted the proposal of working out “Smart Grid Law”. Through the legal means, the system will establish stable electricity and IT integrating infrastructures to cultivate relevant integrating industries. IGRS Alliance and KETI (Korea Electronics Technology Institute) expressed they would enhance the strategic cooperation during the meeting. The two parties had a deeply discussion on IPM and relevant issues and they will have more communications on home energy management and discuss cooperative projects.
